-
Breakfast is good, quiet area.
It's a long way from the center.
-
Location only.
It was noisy!
-
You can very easily access the square.
-
In the vicinity of the principal attractions in Amsterdam.
-
Located fairly close to Rembrandt Square and roughly a mile from Dam square, made this a fairly cheap stay. Was a steady walk away from the thick of it!
-
Nice location, friendly staff and tidy room
-
Not a great deal with Hotel Iris...
The shower was badly designed so it wet the toilet floor. The fact the toilet and shower was outside the room was not very good, and the other room sharing the facilities did not respect it. The walls were very thin and the next door room was very audible.
-
I was charged two times, when I booked AND at the hotel
-
The possibility to move to MAX hotel - it is better (with extra payment about 30 Euro per day)
No bathroom inside the room. Cold numbers. Separate building from the reception and kitchen
-
the room is very small and too simple. Checking -in needs to go to another hotel, which is not believable. Will not choose this hotel comparing with its price. disappointing.
-
Downstairs, hotel is noisy City tourism fees was not included

The breakfast and the waiter at the breakfast were really good.
From the beginning the stay was bad. We had to walk from the orignal place to the reception (600m), although beforehand the receptionis said that it was possbible to check in Hotel Iris and not in another Hotel. We rrrived there, the receptionis was really slow, could not explain the situation properly (frankly, we though that he was stoned). The card reader was broken. So, I could not pay the room with my card. The receptionist explained me the direction, which were wrong. After 30 min I was back and paid the room. The room (Nr. 17) was for 70€ shitty. It was small, the shower had only cold water and was clogged. The toilet was on the floor and also /clogged.

It was situated in an area that we wanted to explore. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. I would stay here again just for the breakfast!
The steep stairs - I was warned about the steep stairs, but one is not prepared for them after a day of sight-seeing and a night of partying...
-
canal view.comfortable mattress and pillows.
the tv in the room didnt work and although they sent someone to fix it they were unable to fix it.we also ran out of toilet paper and there wasnt anyone to ask for more.
